The Red Centre Wellbeing Expedition is a wellbeing initiative that brings Australian veterans together on a professionally facilitated, tagalong 4WD vehicle expedition across the Simpson Desert. The project combines peer connection, shared challenge, and supported reflection in a remote natural environment to strengthen mental health, resilience, and social connection among participants. 

The expedition will be conducted as a small, safety-focused convoy, allowing veterans to travel together while maintaining autonomy within a structured and supported framework. Experienced facilitators with expertise in remote operations, leadership, and advanced first aid will guide the group throughout the journey, ensuring participant safety and wellbeing. 

The expedition will be filmed as a documentary and is designed to capture veterans lived experiences, the importance of peer connection, and the positive impact of wellbeing focused initiatives.
