Dinner - Terms and Conditions

Dress Code

The dress code for the Peacekeeper Dinner is Lounge Suit and Cocktail Dress, with miniature medals.

Guests are expected to present in a manner consistent with the formal nature of the event.

The Event Organisers reserve the right to refuse entry to any guest whose attire is not consistent with the advertised dress code or is considered inappropriate, excessively casual, torn, damaged, offensive, or otherwise unsuitable for a formal commemorative event.

Speakers and Program

The advertised program, speakers, and distinguished guests are subject to change without notice. While every effort will be made to deliver the published program, the Event Organisers cannot guarantee the attendance of any individual speaker or guest.

Ticket Sales

Tickets are sold subject to these Terms and Conditions.

  • Tickets are non-transferable unless approved by the Event Organisers.
  • Tickets purchased through unauthorised third parties may be cancelled without refund.
  • The Event Organisers reserve the right to verify ticket holder details at any time.

Refund and Cancellation Policy

All ticket sales are final.

Refunds will not be issued for:

  • Change of mind.
  • Personal scheduling conflicts.
  • Travel disruptions.
  • Failure to attend the event.
  • Removal from the venue due to breaches of these Terms and Conditions.

Should the Event Organisers cancel the event, ticket holders will be entitled to a refund of the ticket purchase price. Any booking, transaction, or processing fees may be non-refundable where permitted by law.

Right of Entry

The Event Organisers and the Australian War Memorial reserve the right to refuse entry to, or remove from the event, any person whose conduct is considered inappropriate, unsafe, or disruptive.

Reasons may include, but are not limited to:

  • Disruptive, abusive, threatening, discriminatory, or unlawful behaviour.
  • Failure to comply with venue security procedures or lawful directions from event staff.
  • Possession of prohibited items, illegal substances, or dangerous objects.
  • Intoxication or behaviour that may compromise the safety or enjoyment of other guests.
  • Any action that may damage the reputation, safety, values, or intended atmosphere of the event.

No refund will be provided to any person refused entry or removed from the venue for breaches of these conditions.

Right of Refusal and Ticket Revocation

The Event Organisers reserve the right, at their sole discretion, to cancel a ticket purchase or refuse admission to any individual or group where it is considered necessary to protect the safety, integrity, reputation, or intended atmosphere of the event.

Where a ticket is revoked prior to the event, the purchaser may receive a refund of the ticket face value, less any non-refundable processing fees, at the discretion of the Event Organisers.

Fundraising Auction

The Peacekeeper Dinner may include a live and/or silent fundraising auction.

By participating in the auction, attendees agree to the following:

  • All bids are binding and cannot be withdrawn once accepted by the auctioneer or event officials.
  • Successful bidders are responsible for payment in full on the night of the event unless otherwise advised by the Event Organisers.
  • Ownership or entitlement to auction items will not transfer until full payment has been received.
  • Auction items and experiences are offered in good faith. While descriptions are believed to be accurate, APPVA and the Event Organisers make no warranties regarding the quality, condition, suitability, or availability of auction items.
  • In the event that an auction item becomes unavailable due to circumstances beyond the control of APPVA, the Organisers reserve the right to substitute the item with one of comparable value or provide an alternative remedy at their discretion.


Assumption of Risk and Liability

Attendance at the event is at the attendee’s own risk.

To the extent permitted by law, the Event Organisers, APPVA, the Australian War Memorial, sponsors, and partners accept no responsibility for:

  • Personal injury.
  • Loss, theft, or damage to personal property.
  • Delays, disruptions, or circumstances beyond their reasonable control.


Photography and Media

The event may be photographed, filmed, or otherwise recorded.

By attending, guests consent to the use of their image, likeness, voice, and appearance in promotional, marketing, archival, and media materials relating to APPVA and the Peacekeeper Dinner, without compensation.

Parking and Access

Accessible parking, taxi, and rideshare drop-off facilities will be available along West Road between the Administration Building and ANZAC Hall.

General patron parking will be available in the Eastern Carpark adjacent to Poppy’s Café.

Guests are encouraged to allow sufficient time for parking, security screening, and registration prior to the commencement of the event.
