Victorian Veterans Employment Network Update

Coronavirus (COVID-19)

Coronavirus (COVID-19) has created an unprecedented situation around the world, including here in Victoria. The situation is changing quickly, and the Victorian Government recognises that this is a challenging time for Victoria’s veteran community.

We encourage you to engage with your ex-service organisation(s) should you be facing challenges.

Supported by the Victorian Government, RSL Victoria in collaboration with other ex-service organisations has launched a dedicated Veteran Services Call Centre. The call centre serves as a central point of contact for veterans and their families to assist them in accessing support from government and other organisations. If you require assistance, you can contact the call centre on 03 9655 5555.

Victorian Veterans can get the latest coronavirus (COVID-19) health advice, as well as a range of resources, on the Coronavirus: Important information for Victorians website here.

If you suspect you may have coronavirus (COVID-19) or have any questions, call the dedicated hotline – open 24 hours, 7 days – on 1800 675 398.

For any veterans who need to access mental health support or information, visit the Department of Veterans’ Affairs advice page here.
