60th Anniversary of Peacekeeping Coin Unveiled - 12 Sep 2007

On Wednesday evening, 12 Sep, the 60th Anniversary of Peacekeeping Coin, produced by the Royal Australian Mint was officially unveiled by the APMP Chairman Major General Tim Ford (Retd), AO and the Minister for Veterans' Affairs, Mr Bruce Billson, MP.

The unveiling was held during the "Force for Good ?" conference held at the Australian War Memorial on the 12th and 13th of Sep. Also in attendance at the conference and unveiling were, the Vice Chief of the Defence Force, Lieutenant General Ken Gillespie, AO, DSC, CSM; Lieutenant General John Sanderson (retd), AC, Patron APMP and, representatives of the APPVA, RSL, UNPAA and AFP.
