Victorian Branch QGM - 25 Aug 2007
The Victorian branch of
the APPVA held its Quarterly General Meeting at the Wodonga RSL Club. The meeting
was well attended, and Brian Woodward was confirmed as the Branch Vice President.
Key issues raised were raising funds through grants for the purchase of computer
equipment, and to assist with administrative costs for the operation of the branch.
Paul Copeland, the National President was in attendance as a keynote speaker.
Following the meeting was dinner and a trivia competition in which over 20 people participated. Approximately $420 was raised which will be donated to the Australian Peacekeeping Memorial Project.
Many thanks go to the Wodonga RSL for hosting the QGM, and the after meeting festivities. In particular, Gary Mansfield is to be applauded for ensuring that the day went without a hitch.
