"United Nations Day - 24 October 2005"
The United Nations Association of Australia will be hosting a major UNO Observance at the Sydney Cenotaph in Martin Place Sydney at 10.30 am on MONDAY 24 OCTOBER 2005. A large official delegation of VIPS have been invited to attend and to officially lay wreaths to mark the sacrifices of those peacekeepers who have served in the various UNO Missions around the world and who have tragically lost their lives in the Service of Peace.

The Executive of the UNPA Association will be in Hobart Tasmania attending the 2005 National Ceremony being hosted by the Governor of Tasmania over the next weekend and UNO Day on Monday 24 October 2005 Mr Les Lidbury, a former NSW and AFP Police Officer is officially representing the NSW Branch of the UNPAA and the International Police Association and will be lay a Wreath of our behalf at the Ceremony.
IT IS A PUBLIC CEREMONY AND EVERYONE IS VERY WELCOME AND INVITED TO ATTEND.
There is also an opportunity for any interested person to come forward and to lay a wreath towards the end of the official wreath laying ceremony.
