OPERATIONAL LOG SERVICE VERIFICATION - DEFENCE COOPERATION PROGRAMME EAST TIMOR(DCP-EM)

Attention all Military Staff,

1. IN ORDER FOR ARMY TO CORRECTLY RECORD INDIVIDUAL SERVICE WITH THE DCP-EM IT IS REQUESTED THAT THOSE MEMBERS WHO DEPLOYED ON DCP-EM MANUALLY CHECK OPERATIONAL DATA CURRENTLY REFLECTED IN THEIR PMKEYS OP LOG, EITHER WITH THE ASSISTANCE OF ORDERLY ROOM STAFF OR VIA PSS.

2. NOW THAT THE SERVICE HAS BEEN DECLARED WARLIKE AN OP LOG ENTRY IS REQUIRED TO RECORD THIS SERVICE FOR USE BY DVA AND HONOURS AND AWARDS, ETC. THE OP LOG WILL REFLECT DEPLOYMENT ON THE OP OF THE DAY BE IT OP TANAGER OR OP CITADEL.

3. WORK HAS COMMENCED TO IDENTIFY THOSE WHO DEPLOYED ON DCP-EM HOWEVER GIVEN THAT THE ORIGINAL AUTHORITY FOR THE SERVICE IN EM WAS A POSTING ORDER, NOT A DEPLOYMENT ORDER, A REQUIREMENT EXISTS TO MATCH RECORDS WITH DOCM, SCMA, OVERSEAS ADMINISTRATION CELL AND THE EMBASSY IN EM AND WILL BE A LENGTHY PROCESS.

4. WHILE IT WILL BE POSSIBLE TO COMPILE A LIST OF THOSE WHO SERVED IN EM, IOT EXPEDITE THE ADMINISTRATION, IT IS REQUESTED THAT THOSE WHO DEPLOYED AND DO NOT HAVE AN OP LOG THAT REFLECTS OP TANAGER OR OP CITADEL SERVICE ADVISE PROJECT REMEDIATE - ARMY.

5. UNITS ARE NOT TO MAKE ADJUSTMENTS TO MEMBERS OP LOG DATA FOR DCP -EM SERVICE, ALL CORRECTIONS ARE TO BE REGISTERED VIA DEFENCE SERVICE CENTRE.
