In 2009 Warrant Officer Class One Kevin (Irish) O’Halloran will release a book based on the April 1995 Kibeho Massacre, “Pure Massacre - Aussie Soldiers Reflect on the Rwandan Genocide”. His book is a collection of his personal views on the events leading up to, during and after this tragic incident as well as many accounts from other Aussie Soldiers on the ground and in country at the time.

Whilst Irish has captured many comments and reflections from those who served as part of UNAMIR II there are more accounts that need to be told.

I am assisting Irish with his research and in order to ensure ALL Aussie Soldiers who served in Rwanda have a voice I invite you to complete, in as much detail as you can, the following questionnaire. Your thoughts, opinions and recollections will go a long way in helping Irish bring this book to life and ensure that history records the events accurately - as told by you.

I understand that some of the questions are confronting and may be difficult to answer but feel they are important to building the picture for the public to understand more about your role and the events that took place.
