MAKING HISTORY: SHARING THE STORIES OF MEDICAL PERSONNEL IN WAR AND PEACEKEEPING
Friday, 22 August 2008

You are invited to take part in a forum for those who have given service as medical personnel in conflicts either as civilians or as part of the armed forces. People from a range of backgrounds and experiences are encouraged to take part. Rather than a traditional lecture, this moderated group discussion format will enable participants to contribute their stories and experiences of medical service in war and peacekeeping.

The event will be held at the headquarters of the Royal Historic Society of Victoria at 239 A'Beckett Street, Melbourne on Thursday 16 October and will run from 5.15pm until 7pm. Light refreshments will be provided. Entry is via a gold coin donation and all proceeds from the evening will go toward the Sir Edward Weary Dunlop Foundation.

Interested people to contact Matt Burke, APPVA Vic Branch President.
