DESIGN UPDATE

After detailed design of the Memorial was finished, a prototype was made. This prototype involved constructing elements of the final Memorial such as the polished precast concrete, the stone facade and lighting materials. A feature of the Memorial will be the backlit stone facade panels. 


ADF PEACEKEEPING OPERATIONS UPDATE



The Parliamentary Secretary for Defence Senator David Feeney, reviews the Timor Leste Task Group 4 troops on parade during their farewell at RAAF Base Williams, Laverton Victoria, prior to their eight month deployment to Timor Leste.

Memorial Progress Report

"We have a great site on Anzac Parade, we have a magnificent design that is fully developed and costed, and we have an enthusiastic builder . . .  Unfortunately, APMP fundraising continues moving slowly. We are still well short of the required funds necessary to let a final construction contract
