ARES Position for the APMP Committee, location is Canberra.
Task Number: 803
Task Priority: Standard
Task Title: ADF liaison and assistance to the Australian Peacekeeping Memorial Project Task Description National Office Manager, Australian Peacekeeping Memorial Project including an understudy and backup staff (Acting/National Office Manager) where necessary. Secretariat for APMP: assist management of APMP data and files; coordination of APMP committee directed tasks and research; maintenance of communications and liaison between committee, sponsors and supporters; provide committee liaison to project contractors during the construction of the Australian Peacekeeping Memorial; provide support to committee in coordinating the ceremonial dedication.
The position of National Office Manager has been filled. The vacancy is for understudy/back staff.
Australian Peacekeeping Memorial Project Skills Required Competent in office management, research, coordination of large committee administration and scheduling. Good public relations skills. Must be able to work with MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Skype and have familiarity with and gain competency in alternate commercial office IT support systems. Must have the ability to work from Canberra and prepared to travel if necessary.
