Family visit to a Peacekeeper’s Memorial in Cyprus
Senior Sergeant Ian Ward was killed in a land mine explosion in Cyprus in 1974, when he was serving as as a member of the 11th Australian Police Contingent to Cyprus. His family is now planning to travel to Cyprus over the period of ANZAC Day 2011 to visit the site of his Ian Ward’s death and to attend the Anzac Day Services held there. Read more here.
